An offering bowl serves as a symbolic guardian, absorbing and neutralizing unwanted energies, people, or situations from your life. It’s an effective practice for anyone seeking energetic clarity, peace, and protection in their home.
What You’ll Need:
- A small bowl (ceramic, copper, wood, or glass)
- Black Salt or Sea Salt (for protection and cleansing)
- Protective crystals: Black Obsidian, Black Tourmaline, or Onyx
- Dried herbs: Rosemary (cleansing), Sage (purification), Bay Leaves (intention-setting), Cloves (protection), Cinnamon sticks (to repel negativity)
- A small piece of paper
- Pen with black or red ink
- A black candle (for banishing unwanted energy)
Steps to Create Your Offering Bowl:
Step 1: Cleanse and Set Your Intention
- Begin by cleansing your bowl—smudging it with sage, incense, or washing it with saltwater.
- Hold the bowl and clearly state your intention, such as:
This bowl serves as a guardian of my space, permanently removing and blocking unwanted energies or influences. I reclaim my space, freedom, and peace. So it is.
Step 2: Assemble Your Bowl
- Place a layer of Black Salt or Sea Salt at the bottom of the bowl.
- Add your protective crystals on top of the salt.
- Sprinkle the dried herbs over the salt and crystals.
Step 3: Write Your Intention
- On the small piece of paper, clearly write what or who you wish to release, for example:
[Name or Situation] is completely and permanently removed from my life, home, and energy.
- Fold the paper away from yourself (to symbolize removal) and place it inside the bowl.
Step 4: Activate the Bowl with Candle Magic
- Safely light your black candle beside the bowl, letting it burn as long as you feel guided.
